I don't actually get a lot of notes / comments from people sending me news or contests, so when I do I'm super happy. Like. Super duper happy. And what better way to say thank you than feature those who support Love dA Lit [I will feature those that frequently comment and fave too]! Then I might surprise you and randomly feature some people just because I can or those who've sent me in DD suggestions. It's all about spreading the love!

  Only In DreamsThere was a buzzing in the sky as my eyelashes fluttered ever-so slightly in the breeze. Before the interruption I was standing upon the precipice of the mountain Gajan, overlooking the turquoise tree tops; reveling in the swift sweeps of air that had been caressing my being when the noise began. My fiery hair whipped in the fast-moving wind, my hands shooting up to shield my eyes. I did not want to miss this sight.
A great roar echoed in the land as a mighty beast raised itself, pulling its hefty body with the strength of its great claws. The first thing I saw was a set of enchanting irises that glowed fierce with blue flames. Following closely behind its neck slithered high into the air, a great arc that practically etched itself into the yellow colored sky above. It's body encompassed my shadow with its' own, an inky black that stretched for miles. The wind slowly died as the dragon's powerful wings stopped beating, letting the tight skin rest and fold closer to its body. This creat a.m.the kid's writing in crayon:
     
         i am sprawling white void
                 
                  [handcrash]
god.
others have had it
 worse, more spectacular vomitings.
the kid inspects the salmon-
blue flesh of his ankle instead.
you try to navigate the rim of the crater
soaked in iodine.
   but you never name the issue itself.
tonight
will be no different.
