Welcome to the ninety-first issue of Love dA Lit! :rose: Every Sunday this article will aim to promote volunteer opportunities, various resources, prompts, challenges, and workshops, as well as highlighting various contests, and spotlighting a specific group every week. This is by no means a complete list of all the literature going-ons, merely a tool to help you get involved and stay informed.

:star: This weeks group spotlight is Writers-Cove! :star:

This Weeks Group Spotlight

:spotlight-left: :iconwriters-cove: :spotlight-right:

Writers-Cove is a prompt group that releases a new theme every week. Though a fairly new group Writers-Cove strives to give a variety of different kinds of prompts each week. Click here to learn a little more about this group's admins.

LionesseRampant the founder of Writers-Cove, was kind enough to put up with me a second time and answer a few questions regarding the group.

:star:How is Writers-Cove different from the other literature groups on dA?

Well, for one, we are very selective in our submissions to our general poetry and prose folders. We don't want our group to be another 'storage house' for literature. We want extraordinary pieces to be housed in our galleries, and so it shall be. Another thing that we do is a weekly theme. Submissions are accepted for the current theme only, as it is sort of a mini contest: the best written piece is moved to the featured folder, and the author of that piece receives five points.

:star:What caused you to create the group?

I've noticed lately that there are a lot of 'vague' prompt groups out there. I cannot write a poem or prose piece to the word 'adventure;' it's just too broad a topic.

:star:Right now the group has only given five themes, do you have plans to make them more challenging? If not, why?

Yes. For the first few prompts, we planned on easing into the process, but we're going to be 'cracking down hard' this week by giving you a very specific prompt. Good luck :D

:star:Anything else of note that you would like to share?

Well, there might be a contest in the works, but I'm at a loss of points at this moment. If you want to donate, please donate to LionesseRampant. Thanks :D
