Welcome to the one-hundred twelfth issue of Love dA Lit! Every Sunday this article will aim to promote volunteer opportunities, various resources, prompts, challenges, and workshops, as well as highlighting various contests, and spotlighting a specific group every week. This is by no means a complete list of all the literature going-ons, merely a tool to help you get involved and stay informed.
Note: Since they're still awesome(and will always be awesome) give even more love to our new lit seniors: raspil. spoems, vespera, dreamsinstatic, OfOneSoul, FuzzyHoser, MagicalJoey, inknalcohol, and mirz333!

Heart-of-Poetry's main focus is poetry, however, "this group is dedicated to all literature -- poetry, prose, novels, etc. Our main purpose is to support, inspire, and encourage aspiring poets and authors." They hold a weekly prompt and are just a very warm and supportive group. Click here to learn a little more about this group's admins.
Oilux, the co-founder of Heart-of-Poetry, was kind enough to let me ask her a few questions regarding the group.
Can you explain a bit about your group, Heart-of-Poetry, and what makes it different from other literature groups on dA?
"Support, inspire, encourage." is the group's tagline, what are some of the things you do for your members to support this?

They hold a weekly prompt and are just a very warm and supportive group.
Heart-of-Poetry is an amazing literature group where we accept any kinds of writing, no matter what subject it's on. I like to think that what makes us different from other literature groups is our activity, weekly prompts, and interactive members. It's an amazing group where we try to make everyone feel great about who they are, improve their skills, and even talk to them on a constant basis.
"Support, inspire, encourage." is the group's tagline, what are some of the things you do for your members to support this?
Support: for every deviation that is accepted, it is read by myself before it is included. Now one comment left here on our group has gotten ignored, and we try to cater to every single person to make sure that they feel supported.
Inspire: our weekly prompts are meant to inspire as well as the contests that we have. We here are meant to inspire and encourage people to do their best so that they can always be proud of whatever they accomplish.
Encourage: we never deny a deviation into our group unless they are submitted to the wrong folder, and even then we let them know that they have completed a masterpiece and that it should be shared. There is no such thing as bad poetry, there is simply different idea's about what poetry is.
Will there be any future projects and events can we expect from Heart-of-Poetry?
Hopefully soon, we will have another contest. We have yet to decide on the theme, but there most certainly will be another contest soon. Until then though, we have our weekly prompts that entertain everyone.
In your opinion, what has been the most challenging aspect of running the group? Rewarding?
The most challenging aspect is remembering that every week there should be a new prompt. It's well worth it though when I look at the pieces that people have written for the prompt and seeing how amazing they are indeed. Truly all the work that goes into this group is so amazing because we get to see so many others improve and age as writers.
Anything else of note that you would like to share?
No, but thank you for giving me the chance to answer these questions.

Checking In
It's been quite a while since my last journal entry, about five years. I hope whoever is reading this knows I've never forgotten anyone and I think of all the friends I made here with such love and joy. I'm not sure how many people still linger on DA, but I hope that if you somehow stumble back to my page you know that I love you and wish you well. There is simply too much to go over for the span of five years, so I'll keep it short and sweet. I love you and I missed you. I don't write quite as much as I used to, but I've started dabbling more often again and was thinking of posting once more. I'm terribly out of practice, but it's something that's always been cathartic so it doesn't matter too much to me how "good" it is. Sometimes you just have to get the feelings out. Anyways, I hope you are having a wonderfully lovely day, my lovelies. How about some questions! What's your current favorite song? A video game you can't stop playing? TV show or movie you wish everyone else would
Renewal
It has been a rough few years for myself and my family. It is strange to think that for once in my adult life that I am legitimately doing well, not pretending or being close but not quite there. Things are almost infinitely better than 6 months ago and, if I'm honest, it feels like that was years ago. DA has always been a home and as I've slowly gotten better I find myself missing it and all the friends I've made more and more. I know I do not elaborate much on my personal life, but perhaps now that so much is behind me I can allow myself to discuss it more. In truth, I'm not even sure where to begin, but updating on what happened in the la
Birthdays and Change
I wanted to thank all the lovelies who wished me happy birthday recently, I read all your comments and it made me extremely happy. ♥ It was nice to hop on and see that I was thought of, I truly appreciate it beyond words.
However, I know have been very absent for a few months now. Things have not be going well in my life for the majority of the year (and if I'm honest the last 2 years) now and I have had to put DA on the back burner. I still find myself coming to the site, reading comments/replies, looking at deviations, but currently I am overwhelmed by everything that I can't bring myself to do much else.
I find myself now on the pr
