This Weeks Project Spotlight
A Smattering of Lit NewsFeatured
I'll take news noted or commented to me at any time. Self-motivated updates happen when they happen. o:
doodlerTM and nawkaman are offering one-word critiques. If you are, too, let me know and I'll add.
I keep getting comments that are like 'oh man I don't know if it's okay to ask for clarification'...that's the whole point. I'm too busy and niced-out from work to spend an hour dissecting some piece and finding some nice slices of positive things to say to make a critique sandwich. So, one word. If you get it, go work on it. If you need more info, ask, and that way we both get what we want: better writing.
The point is to force a dialogue. Massive textwalls can be overwhelming or sometimes people have nothing to say in response. Well, there is no textwall here.
A-Year-of-Writing is led by awesome ex-mod Halatia and is posting a new, thought-provoking prompt every week. ("Why aren't you contributing anymore, neuro?!" UFO, bitches. Gotta get that draft done.)
If you don't know neurotype by now then what are you waiting for, I politely insist you watch her. She is one of our current, and amazing, Lit CV's who's started up this lovely little news article, A Smattering of Lit News. A Smattering of Lit News is a great new resource which lists a few current projects and/or contests, some thought engaging forum posts, polls, and features! [See, it is totally wonderful.
